MSN Search Roundup

Here's my round up. I still can't use it. Either than Scott over at Scott on Writing. And I'm not sure I even want to know what the Slashdot crowd has to say about it.
Just kidding. Hopefully Windows 2003 support will be there when it hits 1.0, but for now, I'll rely on others:
- Michael is disappointed it's under the MSN name. He doesn't like the butterfly! But overall, he's happy with it.
- Charlene Li says the integration is great, but the complexity hinders it.
- Mike Swanson thinks it's pretty good. He likes that it aggregates everything into a single spot. His post was also the first spot I saw that it indexes network drives.
- Joe Wilcox calls it MSNFS. It's not quite WinFS, but it's as close as we'll get for a while, so it's MSNFS. He also says the indexer is slow. He says he's testing, but as soon as he's done, he's pulling the plug on it.
- Mike Torres of the MSN Spaces team talks about the integration between the toolbar and Spaces, and he loves it.
- Jonathan Hardwick posts about some of the power-user features. He's been dogfooding it for a couple of months now, and he likes it.
- Lastly, check out the MSN Search blog for the announcement. There's also a link in the comments to a plug-in that will support searching PDFs.
